About Faculty

Faculty of exact sciences and innovative technology (physic-mathematical Faculty, Faculty of informatics-mathematics) trains specialists in the sphere of mathematics, informatics, physics, engineering and technology for more than 60 years. Educational process is focused on combination of traditional and innovative forms and methods of education, with due regard to advanced native and foreign experience and know-how.

There are two departments on the Faculty:
Mathematics and physics, Information technology

Educational programs in the direction of Bachelor’s Degree are realized on the Faculty. Leading direction is Applied Information Science. Admission to the Bachelor’s Degree Program (full-time and part-time) is carried out in 2013.

Personal approach in the process of students’ education is successfully implemented on the Faculty. Curriculum  is built in such a way that variative aspect allows every student to apply his/her special knowledge  in the vast economic sphere. Individual program of work and practical experience is built for every student.  Cooperation of students with prospective employers  begins on the second course, students , students get involved in the concrete serious informational projects. It’s provided by cooperation of the Faculty with a variety of the largest Russian firms which work in the information sphere. In the process of training student gets some profession-oriented certificates  and professional work experience  in the real economic conditions. It also contributes successful job placement and career development.

Faculty of exact sciences and innovative technology realizes programs of further vocational education.
Research on a variety of acute educational directions is conducted on the Faculty, there are full-time and part-time postgraduate studies.
