Master’s Degree program "Historical analysis and political forecasting: Russia (XIX - the beginning of XXI century )" gives a holistic view of the political development of our country, shows features of the Russian political tradition and focuses on in-depth nature of the proposed course.

At the heart of graduate course is problematic approach. So constructed program aims to give answers to topical questions of Russian history - identity and nationalism, the politics of history  and "politics of memory", the revolutionary process, the role of the state and the "third sector" in life of the country. Attracting of Western researchers to participate in the development of the course allows you to make the vision of the Russian history deeper and holistic.

The successful development of the course will allow the graduate to reach the level of historical analysis and modeling of socio- economic and political processes in the modern world , become an expert on the market of analysis , forecasting and advisory services.

Stuidents successfully defended their master's thesis, have additional capabilities, passed Ph.D. exams in "national history" , foreign language and philosophy, go to the post-graduate level training and defending a thesis for the degree of candidate of historical sciences, specialty 07.00.02. - Native history.

Practice

Educational and research practice. Research effort in preparation of master’s thesis in the archives of the “Radio Freedom” in CEU ( Hungary ) and leading archives of Russian Federation.
