Today is obvious that crime became one of the main reasons of society’s social tension. It is the real threat for the state’s safety, a real barrier on the way of political, social and economic reforms’ realization. The dynamic of criminally responsible deals’ growth is combined with the level of criminal society’s increasing, criminal groups’ consolidation, criminal and economic crime’s integration. Social significance of this branch of training is determined by necessity of lawyers’ training, who will be able to realize an activity of determination, warning and extinction of crimes’ preparation and full and fast investigation of those, which have already been realized. Graduates will do it on the base of breakdown of current and fast changing crime situation strategic and professionally trained.

Bachelor of Law in criminal profile will be able to work in the sphere of providing law and order as inquiry officer or his deputy, staff of internal affairs agencies, marshal, lawyer’s deputy, crown agent’s deputy, and judge’s deputy. You will develop and pass normative legal acts, enforce substantive and procedural law, legally and correctly qualify facts and conditions, will learn how to create a legal document. You will master the rules of the juridical examination of normative legal acts, also in order to detect clauses providing encouraging corruption in them. You will as well learn how to compile a competent legal opinion and to provide legal advice in a certain legal activity, etc. You will be able to fork in education sphere as a teacher of law disciplines.

The sphere of professional activity of a bachelor includes:

• expert and consulting;
• ensurance of law and order;
• legal training and education.

During the training of Bachelors of Law according to Criminal Law’s profile in SMSUH the main attention is paid to the following skills:

• An ability to determine, warn and investigate crimes and other offences;
• An ability to realize an activity of determination, warning and extinction of crimes’ preparation;
• Readiness for realization of function of law and order’s guarantee, security of person, society and state.

The distinctive feature of Bachelor of Law’s professional training of Criminal Law’s profile in SMSUH is that the Institute of Law, Politics and Social Development owns a material and technical resources, which provides a quality learning of the basic bachelor’s education program, including judgment hall, forensic room, computer classes with the Internet access, specially equipped classes with multi-media demonstration complexes for showing of educational films of law enforcement’s activity’s organization.

In the Institute work highly qualified specialists, who have degrees of PhD and Doctor of Legal Science, big experience of practical work in law enforcement (internal affairs bodies, public prosecution office, and court). A lot of them are market with state rewards. It provides an ability to give students not only theoretic knowledge but also practical skills of law’s usage.
